I am so lonely. This is a horrible feeling and one that is pretty damn new to me. I've spent my whole life avoiding real relationships. First it was by hiding in books then behind a computer when we got one and I was 12.

It's like after moving to VA and developing friendships far above surface, I realized how amazing it is to have friends. People that called instead of abusing texts, people that showed up at my apartment when I refused to go out and forced me to, people who still call or email to this day asking how I'm doing and telling me how they are.

In a way I hate them for showing me this side of the human condition but mostly I love them with all of my heart for making me feel truly loved and appreciated.

Yesterday I had the luck to work with a very pretty and very sweet lady named Sue Tran.

She arrived with her make-up artist Erica Smith and we got to work.

Below are some of the photos I ended up liking from the shoot. It's funny to go from 806 down to 40.

Make sure to click the "read more" link at the bottom because I posted a ton of photos under a cut.

We had actually planned on doing a desert shoot until we realized it's Arizona, the temperature has been 103 degrees lately, and we were shooting at 3 PM.

I will get my desert shoot someday!

Did my first maternity shoot today. It was actually pretty difficult. I was told they're the most difficult types to do though.

Tomorrow I have a lot of work to do with school paperwork and finding some doctors in my area so I'm going to spend half my time editing all of the photos I liked from the shoot (100 of them) and half getting my life figured out.

My new hair, taken the day before yesterday (before the Monroe piercing).

I'm calling my hair lady to have more hair put in but a funky color. I'm thinking purple. I want to bleach out parts of the top of my head as well.

My niece Arden wouldn't sit still at this church group my parents run. I was trying to take a pic with her.

New tattoo, first session.

It's going to look like this when it's finished (around my shoulder and down part of my arm)...

The title of the piece is in Spanish. It's by this Chicano artist I'm obsessed with. I looked up the meaning today and it is "struggle for your love". It can also be translated as "fighting for your love".

He is also going to work on my quarter/half sleeve eventually. I'm excited. He's going to fix up the tattoo I have on my arm right now so everything goes together in a very purdy way. Then later on I'll have him put that bird around the other flower on the other side of my chest to match.

I'm going to lunch at 3 with Marissa tomorrow. I miss her. I miss her a lot. We both said sorry to each other and planned a lunch date right away like 2 hours ago.

Then I'm going to my friend Lisa's for a BBQ/pool party. Of course I've been complaining for weeks about how much I want to swim and now I can't because I have a brand new tattoo and piercing.

Bollocks.

Exciting text I got today from Ashlee. She gave me permission to show more samples from our recent shoot. I love her for that!

Ashlee is gorgeous, hardly even needed editing. She has the best smile, too.

No for real, I am opening this LJ back up. WHO IS OUT THERE?

I just went through all of the entries here and it made me feel so happy. Everything was so fun-loving and humorous, for the most part.
